Stage4Change

The Portuguese workshop proposal lasts 10 days concentrated in a month. Its organization is modular and consists of five modules: Theatre, Body Expression, Musical Expression, Written Expression and "Mural do Clima".

Taking advantage of the specificity of the project and the timing of partners' mobility, a mini workshop promoted by the Project partners was also included.

Each module was planned to last two hours, concentrating two modules on each training day with half an hour between them.

Despite being separate modules and with different trainers for each module, the course follows a specific structure depending on its sequence. The organization of the order of sessions is related to the objectives of each area.

Training

In this workshop, participants prepared a performing arts presentation. In the process, participants developed soft/civic skills such as verbal and non-verbal communication, interaction, argumentation, exposure, socialisation, empathy, self-confidence and self-esteem that directly contribute to the understanding and respect of European values. Climate change (awareness raising and reachable actions at personal/institutional level for its mitigation) is the topic that's fomented the discussion and promote the creative process.

Final Presentation

This final presentation integrates the various skills developed throughout the Theater, Creative Writing, Body Expression and Musical Expression sessions.

Methane ("Metano") is a work that makes us think in an indirect and absurd way about the topic of climate change, through a succession of scenes that appeal to the senses.
